The spam comments I’m getting are great, they make me smile sometimes, for the simple fact that most of them aren’t just a bunch of words, but actually sound like something a real person would say, and they compliment my website, even though they all basically say the same things. Here are a few examples:
Hmm… I read blogs on a similar topic, but i never visited your blog. I added it to favorites and i’ll be your constant reader.

Thank you! You often write very interesting articles. You improved my mood.
Valuable thoughts and advices. I read your topic with great interest.
Haha. Anyway, yes my posts died, but at this point I’m not sure if I just got busy or if I was just uninterested or what. I don’t think I have enough discipline to post every day, but I’ve been keeping up with taking a picture every day, so at least I have that going for me, for over a month now, I just haven’t been uploading them to the web oops.
I got a free bag from Lockerz and Gears of War for free from Club Bing in the mail today. I FINALLY sent Luc his Lockerz gift that he had sent to my house instead of his house. I called about the cruise and I am hopefully all ready to set sail in 2 weeks for the Bahamas, so that’s very exciting, although I don’t very much know the 3 girls I’m rooming with at all, so I suppose it will be interesting getting to know new-ish people. School is over after next week, which to me is some of the best news ever. Alex was here for a few days and it was so good to see her; they brought Sunny along and she met Rusty I guess and the pictures look hilarious (I wasn’t there at the time). They will be back around Christmas, so that’s even better. Had yummy Chinese for dinner last night. Been playing Xbox, but I need to stop getting new games. I think I might be getting a free Wii from Lockerz now too, so I just need to stop with video games. I don’t even have time to finish the ones I have. And now I just got shipping confirmation for Forza 2 from Club Bing, jeez. With that, I’ll be up to 16 Xbox games in a year. No wonder I have no money… speaking of that, I will hopefully be finding a job after I am home from the cruise so I can start making bank again. I finally finished watching Arrested Development. It was such a good series I hope they really do the movie. Wow, another email confirming shipment on my Wireless Xbox Controller from Club Bing, haha awesome. That’s 2 in one day, but that one requires a signature, so hopefully I am home. Too tired.

Woke up and went to the Bio Lab that I skipped yesterday. We dissected worms which was somewhat boring as I’ve done that at least 3 times in my life already, yawn. At least I was a pro at it by now. My partner didn’t put the pins in at an angle though, annoying haha. Then I came home and mom brought home some groceries so I reorganized the whole pantry because that too was annoying with things just shoved on the shelves, can’t even tell what we have. We basically have two of everything now because of that. I played TF2 for a little bit, terribly I might add. However, I still don’t feel good so I laid in bed and watched Arrested Development pretty much all night until I couldn’t stay awake anymore because my head hurt.

Dissected a worm and a GIANT grasshopper (I forgot to take a picture of that :[ ) in the Bio Lab today. My partner didn’t put the pins in at an angle, ANNOYING!

Today I felt like crap so I went to Comm and took my test. I feel I did fairly decent on it, we will see. But then I skipped Bio (cause I can take the same class tomorrow, no biggie) and History (not too big of a deal here either with take home tests and no attendence grade) and I came home and slept for a long time. Of course my parents were acting like I would lose a limb for skipping, which is silly because they should see how much most of the other people skip, and for no reason too I’m sure. So can it; I didn’t feel well, and I still don’t. It’s not like I was skipping just to skip. Before I left I stopped and chatted with people for a while and watched these guys play MW2, which looks soo good, and this other girl play Kingdom Hearts. Then I bought a $2 tshirt from the Student Life people and they gave me a bag of beads (BEES?!), string, and buckeyes to make my own necklace.

$2 shirt from school cause it’s BEAT MICHIGAN WEEK

Watching this girl play Kingdom Hearts at school this morning. She jumped onto this ledge and her character blocked the ’s’ in shoes, therefore, ‘Boots & Hoes!’

Today was recovery day. Nothing new to report except my camera SD card adapter came yesterday (forgot to check the mail), yay! I can take more than ~10 pictures now, finally!
[PotD]:

My new (free of course, heh you know me) memory card adapter because Olympus is a big baby and makes you have THEIR microSD card adapter, pfft. And of course I lost my first one, so yay this one finally arrived.

Went up to the Shoe for tailgating and bar hopping with my parents and their friends. It was a blasty blast. We were able to get great seats at the bar and we had drinks and yummy food and met some fun guys from Iowa (I kept calling our little group OHIOWA. Everybody enjoyed that one). It was a good close game, but needless to say, the Buckeyes are heading to the Rose Bowl!
[PotD]:

The right side of the bar (The Thirsty "I") we were at for the Ohio State vs. Iowa football game. This was the bar’s reaction as Ohio State scores the Rose-Bowl-deciding touchdown in overtime against Iowa. We met some hilarious Iowa fans and had a great time. I really need to learn how to take non-blurry pictures.

Today was uneventful, so I did a lot of cleaning, and with cleaning comes finding things you might have forgotten about, and with finding forgotten items comes thinking of perhaps almost forgotten times. And looking around my room at my many treasures and possessions, I realized that so many of them have a memory, event, or person to go with them.
A Mountain Dew collector’s bottle from a theme park adventure with a best friend.
A graduation cap, Prom Court sash, and a Homecoming Court sash from a high school full of memories.
An English Guardsman teddy bear from a visit from a British friend.
An Audrey Hepburn portrait from my brother and his wife.
A framed picture of best friends from a past birthday.
A dream catcher from a past relationship.
Various projects from an exciting art class.
Tiny treasures and inside jokes from a favorite cousin.
A framed poster from one of the numerous times seeing one of my favorite bands.
A Winnie the Pooh bear who has been with me longer than all of those things.
Yes, to some extent I am a packrat, but often times I can’t allow myself to get rid of things that in a way share a part of me. A part of my life that is nice to look back to and realize how blessed I am and remember the people and events that have shared a small and sometimes big part in making me who I am today. So, thanks for the memories.

Just a few of my sentimental treasures

Today was the day I solved an entire rubix cube by myself. It took me a few days because I didn’t want to just solve it, I wanted to learn how to solve it so I can do it again and again without watching a video or something. That’s no fun, so I learned and now I can solve the whole thing without cheating, for the most part. There are still 3 algorithms that I need to memorize, but I know the other 5, so that’s pretty decent. I’ll learn them with enough practice. I do however know what to do when and where, which is important. Why am I dedicating this entire post to a silly rubix cube. Sense of accomplishment I guess. I don’t know many people who can do it.
[PotD]:

After many days of trying and getting distracted and people messing it up, I was finally able to solve my very first rubix cube.

All I remember is that the light in my desk lamp burnt out and it put up a fight and didn’t want to come out of the socket. I also need to stop making my room into a disaster area. It amazes my dad that I can clean my room one day and then it’s a disaster all over again by the next morning. Mainly it just pisses him off, heh.
[PotD]:

This weirdo little light bulb was a booger to get out of my desk lamp when it burnt out!

I have no idea what I did today haha. But I did get more prizes from Club Bing, high five.

OSU University President Dr. Gordon Gee stopped by our branch of the university for a visit to take questions and meet some of his “kids” as he called us. As Dr. Gee is known for his bow ties, my friend Eddie asked him about them. Dr. Gee mentioned that he has over 1,000 bow ties and that he tries not to wear the same one more than once a year. Eddie then asked Dr. Gee to show us how he ties his bow ties, so he stripped off his jacket and demonstrated as cameras flashed and people laughed. The school board offered us free pizza, chips, soda, and popcorn, as well as the chance to have our picture taken by a photographer with Dr. Gee. It was great to have finally met him and experience for myself just how friendly and entertaining he is. Along with Dr. Gee, Brittany, the “CW Star” for Columbus was at our school interviewing people for tv. What a coincidence as I’ll be watching Gossip Girl tonight. Oh and on my way to school, I’m pretty sure I was part of the allowance of the cute guy in my class to get pulled over on the highway, so I feel kind of bad about that, and the fact that he didn’t come to either of our classes today afterward. I shouldn’t have let the cop pass me!
