I have huge plans for the site, I really can’t wait to get started. But school will always come first, so give me some time. I’ll work on it slowly but surely. So from now on, the site will be under slow but constant construction while I try to challenge my web designing skills. I want to try to build things completely from scratch. Except images because I’m terrible with those, so those will most likely come from other sources. But hopefully all of my pages in the future will be completely made by me so I can get a full grasp of this shenanigans. EEP! Let me know if you have any ideas or things you’d like to see happen with the site or to be included. Thanks!

I’m really excited this morning because I woke up, checked my email, and my verification had gone through from DomainLagoon *that is my referral link, it will take you to the sign up page. Please use that link if you sign up because it helps me get points as well! Same with all of the banners below, thanks.* DomainLagoon (along with GamingLagoon, HostingLagoon, CashLagoon, etc) is a site that Joe from Eminded.org told me about. I asked him how he had a domain name and he referred me to that site. At first I thought it was a scam, but I tried it out and in no time I had well over 50 points in my account (and a 2 year domain hosting plan only cost me 17.20. So now I have plenty left over in case I want to renew my domain name in the future or if I want to get another site, etc) It really works, plus there are other ones. The GamingLagoon has all kinds of gaming prizes like XBox Live, 360 Controllers, WoW, headsets, screen protectors, DS Lites, etc for all types of gaming platforms. HostingLagoon is one where you get free webhosting, unlimited email accounts, unlimited subdomains, etc. CashLagoon you get, you guessed it, real cash either via check, PayPal, or pre-paid Visa cards.

So please please click these ads and sign up, I promise it isn’t a scam, it really works. I don’t have a credit card of my own to buy a domain online, I got it through this site. And I’m trying to refer people to this site because if you sign up, I get points added to mine and if you get others to sign up, we both get part of the points, and so on. If you need proof that this worked for me, send me an email or an IM .

Just a quick heads up that my day has so far been splendidly awesome. I was up early and at school on time (although I had to run to my first class because I accidentally parked on the wrong side of campus, but I was not counted late, as I beat my professor inside by a matter of seconds :D ) And that entire class we just spent telling the class about ourselves. My intro was short and sweet, but I had people asking me questions afterward (‘What games do you play?’ OF COURSE I HAD TO MENTION THE VIDEO GAMEAGE!) And then during my break, I went to the math lab to make sure I understood the homework. Then I was able to listen to Luc’s radio slot (which can be found here! just choose your player)! And then I headed to math, where the teacher was so happy that on Wednesday everyone was present on the very first day. She told us that in all of her decades of teaching, that had never happened. So today she brought us cookies and pencils, just like in elementary school! Fun times and class went smoothly. After that I drove home with the windows down, system up. Went to the bank to deposit some money, came home and mum came bearing her credit card and we bought ZUMBA! So I’m hoping that will be fun; it looks fun on tv. AND THEN I asked Loki on LL if he had any luck with sending me my copy of Team Fortress 2 that I had won from his contest on the forums, and he gifted it to me! But right now I have to get my coursework done before I get too carried away with gaming again. Not sure what the evening will hold, but I’m excited to find out! Hope your days/weeks are going smoothly. If not, you know where to find me. :P

PS – PWNED.COM – A Society For Gamers.

It’s like Myspace, but cool. :P And for gamers! Find clans and other people to game with. Earn pwned points that go towards prizes by talking in the shoutbox, posting in the forums, writing blogs, referring friends, etc. Check it out if interested. Please use my referral link above, thanks. :]

Some things have been taken care of. I now will start fresh tomorrow, as it is a whole new chapter in my life I suppose. Sophomore year of college begins in a few hours, I should probably sleep… Cheers!

I just installed a VNC Server Program on my laptop. It’s a way for people to connect to my desktop and I can either allow them to have some control of my mouse and keyboard, or I can make it view-only, which is self-explanatory. It’s password protected and has a small box that pops up to let me know that someone is trying to connect. I used it to allow my friend to help me with a few things I was having trouble with. It’s very convenient and fun to work with. I would put up a full tutorial on how to do it yourself, but it’s a bit lengthy and requires know-how (plus I’ve only done it once, with the help of a friend). However, to help get you started:
visit PortForward. Once there, select the make and model of your router. On the following page, search for “VNC”, and follow the instructions VERY CAREFULLY. To get the program, visit the RealVNC download page (no need to enter details, just proceed to downloads) and choose the one for your OS (I use VNC Enterprise Edition for Windows (x86, x64 & ia64) ). Install and configure, but there is a lot more to it than just this.

I just wanted to throw it out there that I try to update the links page anytime I find a cool site, and it’s been getting lengthy lately, so be sure to check on that every once in a while, some of it is good stuff.

I negatived my site and made a new header and changed all of the orange to green. Lemme know what you think or if it’s hard to read, etc. Not very girly anymore :/ Might just be temporary, I can’t find any really simple themes like this anywhere, sigh. White was way too bright. The whole theme of my computer is black because I’m mostly on it at night.

Well I’m pretty sure it’s official that Dad was able to get Death Cab For Cutie / Tegan & Sara tickets from Ken (he works for the people who own the LC Pavillion and Newport. hoping for Brand New tickets, still checking on that one) for Nathan and I, so I’m really excited about that, but not going to get my hopes up til I see the tickets cause dad didn’t sound too sure about it. Speaking of Nathan, I’m hanging out with him for a bit tomorrow, which I’m excited about because he’s moving to Columbus to start up school soon. I get to help him with that again. Arrange his underwear drawer like I did last year. Sigh, boys and their bland underoos… I want to go to the library so bad! I’m sorry this is random, it’s 4:35am and Schism (Tool) is really messing with my mind.

Hello my name is Sam and I’m addicted to sudoku and word searches on Nintendo DS.

I bought a piano. It’s extremely fun and exhilarating when I teach myself new songs. I love it. That’s it.

Give me some songs to learn. Hopefully I can find videos of how to play them on Youtube until school starts on the 24th and I begin my piano class, where they will hopefully teach me how to read sheet music. YAY!

Vanessa Carlton, LOOK OUT. No idk. Haha.. but seriously, A Thousand Miles? Easy to play.

My mom just said that she has a lot of mail to deliver today and my dad is at QFM96’s End of Summer Breakfast Club at Capt’n Woody’s. Josh just left for work, so I have the whole day to myself to get things done yay! I have lots of cleaning to do, which I don’t mind because I’m in that kind of mood. And it’s quiet enough to do a lot of yoga. Then maybe I’ll try and see what Nathan or the girls are doing tonight and possibly hang out with somebody (maybe go to the Sweet Corn Fest!). Tomorrow is the first OSU football game of the season so I’m pretty excited. And of course that means the weekend parties will continue at our house throughout football season. At least I think so… I’m not sure about the whole channel change whateverness that the games are going through, but hopefully we get the channels and can continue tradition. Josh doesn’t like Ohio State too much, but I’m going to try to convert him. Otherwise, I think he might be dreading the next 12 Saturdays, cause I’ll be spending them here, watching the games.
